THE DECISIVE MOMENT

Course: ARTD313 - Beginning Digital Photography

Task: Photograph as many images as possible. Actively observe the world that surrounds you and try to capture the Decisive Moment. Your photographs should depict scenes that reveal larger narratives about the world you find yourself in. Keep your camera with you as much as possible, because as Henri Cartier-Bresson says, “You just have to live, and life will give you pictures.” Be able to tell your audience the narratives behind your compositions, where you found inspiration, where your ideas came from, what your struggles were, and how you overcame them!

Reading: The Decisive Moment by Henri Cartier-Bresson

Requirements: 6-8 inkjet prints and correlating files.
