FICTIONAL PHOTOGRAPHER

Course: ARTD419 - Intermediate Digital Photography

Task: Students are asked to write a biography for a Fictional Photographer addressing the following: personal life, identity, geography, photographic career, photographic style and concepts, and technological factors that influenced their work. Read the biography received and make a series of photographs from the perspective of the fictional person being described. Imagine inhabiting that persona. Enjoy not being yourself for a while. And be careful not to slip into the habit of your usual practice. This should not resemble anything you have made before because it is not your work!

Requirements: 6-8 inkjet prints, correlating files, and Dall•e portrait.
